Kennedy will use local visionary Sue Goyette's latest book, Future Howl, as their course text. "Future Howl is a complex, exacting achievement," Kennedy has said. "It is obscure, resistant and resilient. It demands careful thought and patient consideration. To unravel its secrets, we will study aesthetics, psychoanalysis, liberal colonialism, liberal fascism, ecofeminism, posthumanism, formalism, Alice Munro and wolves."
